Create romantic leads, write a meet-cute and describe a broken heart.

Valentine's Day may have come and gone, but that doesn't mean it's too late to work on improving your romance writing. In fact, these prompts will give your romance-writing muscles a good work-out whatever month it is.
Imagine your celebrity crush - same looks and personality, minus the celebrity - moves in next door. As they lean over the garden fence/catch your eye in the lift or on the stairs, it's clear they are interested in you, too. Write the flirty conversation that follows.
Consider the one that got away and that you've never quite forgotten. Imagine them as the romantic lead in a new story or novel. Write a scene where the reader is introduced to them for the first time, making sure you capture whatever it is that so captivated you.
Write a funny meet-cute between two characters who are incredibly different. Pay particular attention to the moment when sparks start to fly.

Write five ways to describe a broken heart.
